| Furusato Creative / SOHO entrepreneur promotion
program subsidy |

Subsidies may be granted toward the cost of
establishing an office for individual or corporate entrepreneurs
who plan to operate creative or SOHO businesses in under-populated
towns or villages within the prefecture.
(1) 3 years expenses of fees for various office equipment as
well as communication circuits necessary for operating the
business after establishment of the office.
(2) 3 years expenses of rental fees for realty assets such
as the office after it is established.

|
Incurred expenses for the following undertakings

that have been deemed necessary by the governor.

(2) New construction or improvement of water supply/drainage
facilities
(3) Development / maintenance of environmental facilities such
as buffer green zones
(4) Development / maintenance of local exchange facilities
(5) Other projects deemed necessary for promoting industry |

In regards to facilities established in a prefecture that exports
electric power, two-thirds of the amount can be borrowed.

| Subsidies for promoting the introduction and
maintenance of Furusato Creator / Telework facilities |
|
Incurred expenses toward the following
undertakings conducted by under-populated towns and villages
to invite creators, SOHO entrepreneurs (corporations / individuals)
as well as teleworkers within industries that have been deemed
necessary by the governor.
(1) Building, extending or acquiring houses, buildings or deserted
school buildings, etc., (hereafter referred to as leased facilities)
to be leased as SOHO offices, telework centers, etc., the only
exceptions being when the leased facilities are newly constructed.
(2) IT infrastructure projects and office equipment development
/ maintenance projects within leased facilities
(3) Development / maintenance of the equipment required for
these activities
(4) Other projects deemed necessary for promoting other SOHO
entrepreneurs, etc.

Aid is given on the condition that the applicants transfer
their official residence to the prefecture and continue the
project.

of 10 million yen or higher. (Annual amount limit: 20 million
yen) (Aid duration: 5 years)
Ž¥Office rental fees: Subsidies given for 2/3 of up to 10 million
yen, half of 10 million yen or higher. (Annual amount limit:
20 million yen) (Aid duration: 5 years)
Ž¥New local employment: 700,000 yen for every additional employment
of people with general insurance but not including people insured
for short-time labor.
Ž¥Lease expenses: Subsidies given for 2/3 of lease costs for
equipment leased for 5 years or more. (Annual amount limit:
10 million yen) (Aid duration: first year only)
Ž¥In-service training expenses: Subsidies given for 2/3 of costs
for giving an employee in-service training within the prefecture,
within a limit of 200,000 yen per person. (Annual amount limit:
20 million yen) (Aid duration: 5 years) |
