The Tokushima Industrial
Technology Center is committed to upgrading the technological level
of industry within the prefecture and encouraging economic growth.
In addition to providing testing, inspection, analysis, and measurement
services for local companies, it also supports the development
of new products and technologies, the improvement of product quality,
and the rationalization of manufacturing processes by making test
and research equipment as well as most of the facility open to
the public.
The Center offers free-of-charge consultations to local companies
regarding difficult technical issues as well as providing troubleshooting
and technical development support.
In addition to these services, the Center rents conference room
space and conducts seminars and lectures designed to further the
spread of industrial technologies. It is committed to providing
a comprehensive level of support for local industry through advanced
technical training programs designed to improve the capabilities
of technicians from small- and medium-sized businesses and to promote
the acquisition of new technologies. |

The Industrial Technology
Joint Research Center was established on the west side of the Tokushima
Prefecture Industrial Technology Center with the goal of stimulating
industries involved with fundamental technologies and reinforcing
the local economic foundation. The Center also offers short-term
laboratory space leases as a means of supporting technical advancement
by local companies, entry into new fields and markets, and new
product development.
The Center also actively promotes exchanges between different business
fields and supports companies seeking to leverage their own original
technologies and creative ideas.
